Metro Wins Communicator Awards

Metro Productions is pleased to announce that they have been honored with a total of 4 Communicator Awards in the 15th Annual Communicator competition. The winning entries were for videos geared toward employee communications (“DRS Strategy 2008” and “Markel Style”), social issues (Office of the Attorney General’s “The Wrong Family”), and sales (“The AVID Way”). The award for “DRS Strategy 2008” was of the highest honor given, Award of Excellence, and the other three were of the second highest, Award of Distinction. The privilege of being recognized by the Communicator Awards, along with the many other awards Metro has received this year, attests to Metro’s devotion to creative excellence and surpassing client needs.

Founded by communications professionals 15 years ago, the Communicator Awards seek to recognize the best creative work in the communications field. The awards are judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, which is comprised of top-tier media industry and public relations experts. The awards received over 7,000 entries this year, and Metro is pleased with its strong showing among such a competitive pool.

Additionally, a driving tour audio CD for the city of Newport News, produced by Metro, was honored with a VIRGO award. Read about it here. Metro has previously won multiple New York Festival WorldMedals, Telly Awards, Communicators, Accolades, Summit Creative Awards, U.S. International Film and Video, and Videographer Awards for various productions.
