There are a myriad of buyers in the world... who is yours? Your buyer could come from any industry, including Healthcare, Tourism, Government, Defense, and so on. You have created a product to serve as a solution to your particular audience/industry, and when you are selling or marketing this product, it is vital that you are directly targeting your audience. You know better than anyone what makes your buyer “tick,” and what influences them in the decision making process. This knowledge makes you instrumental in the development of your product video, which can be used to showcase your product’s features, processes, benefits, solutions, etc.
In what environment would you find your potential buyer? Are you trying to influence them via your website, digital signage, email, YouTube (viral), sales meeting, social media, tradeshow, or mailings? Video can serve as a powerful tool to target each of these audiences by tailoring and developing the appropriate concept to fit your individual needs. In turn, you will have a quality marketing tool that will increase the visibility and traffic of your product, and the duration of your buyers’ interest.
Metro has recently produced videos for an array of different products. One of our clients, McKee Craft, is in the business of building boats for the military, government, recreation, and leisure. Metro played a vital role in developing short videos for 10 different products, which showcased the boats’ unique features and their first class maneuverability. Another company, Revision Eyewear, develops ballistic sunglasses and goggles that protect the eyes of our soldiers that serve in the armed forces. Metro shot live video that demonstrated the products’ capabilities, along with product close-ups and talent that were filmed in our studio. With infusion of all three, we were able to create a powerful, eye-catching tradeshow video that complimented their booth and drew in the passing audience. A final example is Bag Boy, which is a unique product that serves as a personal bag boy for the avid golfer. Our focus was on its functionality, maneuverability, and how user-friendly it was, and the video displays this product in its own environment, the golf course. The end product consists of a DVD that is mailed out with the product to assist the buyer in the decision making process.
The deliverables for our video products include DVD (Standard and High Definition), web files (Quicktime, Flash, etc), podcasts, and BluRay. There is a product video waiting to aid you in closing a deal, explaining your product, or showcasing your business endeavor.
